On the Boards presents Romeo Castellucci’s much talked about Hey Girl! at the Behnke Center for Contemporary Performance.

Inspired by a group of girls waiting at a bus stop, Hey girl! traces the lineage of womanhood through a series of emotionally riveting images punctuated by jaw-dropping theater magic. Fierce, radical and breathtaking, director Romeo Castellucci’s controversial brand of visual theater has earned him an international reputation as a modern day performance titan. Making their first trip to the Northwest, Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio was founded 25 years ago by Castellucci with his wife Chiara Guidi and his sister Claudia Castellucci.

The Seattle Times provides their preview here.
