Three great dance parties over the next three months

November 2, 2010• bySeattle Gay Scene
DJ Brian Gorr’s REWIND Party returns for the 10th year!

November through January will feature three consecutive months of hot dance parties in Seattle. It’s time to mark the calendar.

1) The first dance party is CHUNKHOUSE at Baltic Room with DJ Ted Eiel on November 20, 2010. Ted did a masterful job at several dance parties in Seattle, such as Seven Deadly Sins: Lust, NX Sweat and Bearracuda and he’s bringing his unique sound back to Seattle along with his very own CHUNKHOUSE Party creation. His music can be described as “muscle house” for men; sexy, funky, chunky house with an emphasis on dirty bass lines, melodic vocals and an intense energy that brings everyone to the floor. The promoter, Two Knights Event, is promising some surprises.
Check out CHUNKHOUSE on November 20th.

2) DJ Brian Gorr’s 10th Annual REWIND Party on December 18, 2010 is when Seattle’s best DJ remembers the year’s best vocal house music (and also music from years past). This truly has become an epic event. And for 2010, REWIND returns to a newly remodeled Baltic Room which (hopefully) will provide more space for the huge crowds this year. All I have to say is get there early since last year capacity filled up by 11pm.
For info about REWIND visit www.djbriangorr.com.

3) On January 15, Two Knights Event will feature the next in their “Seven Deadly Sins” dance party series with “ENVY” at Neumos on Capitol Hill. The party goes till 3am with DJ John LePage who prefers the harder, darker, more progressive side of House, even flirting with tribal and other genres, making for an intoxicating aural brew.
Check out DJ John LePage or info on ENVY at www.twoknightsevent.com.

More info on all three of these events is coming here soon but for now be sure to mark your calendar.
