Green is the new black!

November 16, 2010• bySeattle Gay Scene

The third annual Evolavish fashion took last Thursday in the Herban Feast in SODO. It was a very casual event. It was a great space, very shabby chic. The show highlighted the eco-fashion scene in Seattle. The event was sustainable from the green carpet to the banana paper used for the program. All of the designers were eco-friendly. They use sustainable fabrics like bamboo or recycled existing items making them new again!

The first 50 people there got an eco-goody bag, now we heart a good swag bag. This bag was pretty cool. It contained a Sweet Beauty lip balm, cocoa berry cocktail, a fruit punch lip balm, a , bag of popchips (yummy!), some hair care products from Mode, an organic salon, Herban Essentials Towelettes (we love these), a notebook, Seattle Magazine, a bottle of Honest Tea and Dry Soda.

The show highlighted designs from Revival Ink, Vian Hunter House of Fashion, Cameron Levin Couture and Twice Blushed. Jewelry was FLutterbudget Jewelry, WorldWIse Jewelry, Sucree Jewelry. Handbags from Reveal Handbags. Photos from Brick House Photography.
