“I’m your Auntie Mame!” Three Dollar Bill Cinema offers their fans a Holiday Treat!

If you don’t love the insanely awesome 1958 classic comedy, “Auntie Mame” starring beloved actress Rosalind Russell, you might have to turn in your gay card. The original book, by Patrick Dennis, the stage production, also starrring Miss Russell, AND the film have helped define “gay” humor of the “camp” kind. Auntie Mame is bold, brassy, bawdy and opinionated and she might just be the first iconic drag queen that helped define “gay” for a generation (or two) of LGBTQ people. It’s also freaking hilarious.

Three Dollar Bill Cinema is gifting us with a screening of this comic treasure on Thursday, December 16 at 7:30pm at AMC’s Pacific Place Cinemas at 6th and Pine. Advance tickets are only $12.50 for General Admission and $10.50 for Three Dollar members. Proceeds will benefit Three Dollar Bill and help support their year round season of film events that include the Seattle Lesbian & Gay Film Festival, the outdoor summer film series in Cal Anderson Park, the spring film series and many other events throughout the year. Get your tickets HERE!
