WinterGREEN the annual community enviro-friendly community festival is back with a mission to “interact with with the community in a unique format to promote sustainable living as well as our community artists and businesses.” It all takes place this coming Saturday, January 8 at the Chloe Apartments complex at 1408 E Union St (behind Piecora’s on Capitol Hill) and the event runs from 12pm to 4pm. Chloe gives back to the community by providing vacant units as space for pop-up stores, art galleries, and installation rooms. The event features local green friendly businesses and artists including food and beverages from Skillet and Parfait. A passport system will be featured that allows participants to get stamped at every room they visit; after 10 stamps, you earn a gift bag from Babeland, wine from Poco Wine Room and a chance to hang out with the folks from the social media group, Banyan Branch.
It’s the blechy grey month of January…get green and make some new friends at Chloe this Saturday.
