Thursday May 8 to Sunday May 11 is the Transgender Film Festival in Seattle presented by Three Dollar Bill Cinema and Gender Odyssey. General admission is just $7 per event or get a pass for $40.

Just The Facts at 7 pm, is a program of short films that reveal some truths about trans people through biographies, informative films and local stories.
She’s A Boy I Knew at 8:45 pm, is the opening night feature depicting the life of filmmaker Gwen Haworth’s MTF transition through the voices of her family, best friend, and wife. Filmmaker in attendance.
Saturday May 10:
TRUE COLORS: the Life and Legacy of Alexander John Goodrum at 5 pm, celebrates the achievements of this trans activist in the face of his struggle with debilitating mental illness.
Manuela & Manuel at 7 pm, is a hilarious gender-bending comedy from Spain about a woman who agrees to impersonate a man to help a best friend face an unplanned pregnancy.
Out Of This World at 9:30 pm, is a collection of unusual short films that question the boundaries of gender, reality…and good taste.
Trannyshack Seattle at Neumos, as the immensely popular show from San Francisco comes to Seattle for one night only. Doors at 9:30 pm, show at 11 pm: $10.
Sunday May 11:
The Salt Mines/The Transformation at 5 pm, are two films that explore the lives of Latina transwomen living on the streets of Manhattan, and what happens when one of them turns to a group of born-again Christians for help.
Love Man Love Woman at 7:15 pm, explores how effeminate and gay men in Vietnam find community and expression in the country’s popular Mother Goddess Religion, Dao Mau.
20 Centimeters at 8:30 pm, is a about a narcoleptic transsexual who longs to be the glamorous woman of her dreams, and the dreams that follow are the most lavish and colorful musical numbers you have ever seen.
