Miss Kitten and The Hacker set for Neumos in September

July 22, 2008• bySeattle Gay Scene

Miss Kitten and The Hacker are coming to Seattle on September 17th. They began performing together early in their careers and are popular for their influence of “Electroclash” – a fusion of techno and New Wave which became popular the early part of this decade. Kind of like modern art meets techno music. While the hype over electroclash has died down since 2001, Miss Kitten and The Hacker, in my opinion, remain a big factor in the recent evolution of electronic music culture.

Miss Kitten and The Hacker come direct from concerts in France and Spain to the Northwest area for their show at Neumos on September 17. DJ Colby B will warm the crowd starting at 8 pm.

Tickets are $15 in advance.

Don’t miss this event!
