Double Header

July 17, 2007• bySeattle Gay Scene

DOUBLE HEADER, 407 2nd Ave, is an original gay bar in Seattle from back when the gay district was in Pioneer Square 30 years ago. It is no longer exclusively a gay bar. It is possibly one of the oldest gay bars in America with a history dating back to the 1940’s. I cannot think of a reason why a tourist might want to go there unless you want to snap a nostalgic picture while perusing historic Pioneer Square.
