While the rest of the nation recently had a record breaking heatwave, weather wise, Seattle is fully into its fall raining season as of precisely the morning of Sept 16 and quickly on its way to winter weather. This could prove to be a snowy winter to say the least.
Let’s think happy thoughts of rainbows and scenes that are not Seattle with music by the late great Israel Kamakawiwo’ole: “Someday I’ll wish upon a star, wake up where the clouds are far behind me. Where trouble melts like lemon drops high above the chimney tops is where you’ll find me…Somewhere over the rainbow.”
And of course, out of respect for a great musician we MUST have a version with the late great Israel Kamakawiwo’ole himself.
