Crocodile Cafe Unexpectedly Closes

December 17, 2007• bySeattle Gay Scene

Reportedly, Seattle’s historic Crocodile Cafe has unexpectedly closed. There is this in the Seattle Weekly blog. Supposedly the club has no more capital to continue. How sad if you look at their full concert calendar for the coming months. The “Croc” opened in 1991 and has been the stepping stone for up-and-coming bands in Seattle. This would be a significant loss for the Seattle music scene.
Here is video of Nirvana during an unannounced performance at the Crocodile Cafe.
