The news is over at Michael Strangeways’ blog. Steamworks Chicago is the most popular gay sauna in North America and the chain has bought the space formerly occupied by Club Seattle. Their Craigslist posting goes like this: “MEN WHO WANT TO PLAY: We’re open 24/7 in the space formerly occupied by Club Seattle and already we’re stirring things up – STEAMWORKS style!!!” and also this:
“STEAMWORKS SEATTLE is looking for Cashiers, Housekeepers, Maintenance & Facilities manager.” This is surprising news.
If they do 1/2 of what they did in Chicago we will have an incredible place to play here in Seattle.
