We hit a few clubs last night and wanted to casually report back.
First, Purr Cocktail Lounge was as popular as I have ever seen it. The place was packed right up through midnight yet there was no wait to get in, as typically is the case. It was a wide mix of ages mostly younger with many from the just turned 21 crowd all the way up to the more seasoned patrons.
At about 12:30 AM Neighbours was pretty empty mostly because they begin charging $8 by that hour and things don’t get doing there until pretty late. However, Neighbours has really been able to capture the 18+ crowd at 2 am.
By 12:45 AM Cuff was as crowded as I have seen it on a Friday night. Looked more like a busy Saturday night. It seems pretty clear that a number of folks head out of Purr sometime after midnight and straight up to Cuff for dancing until 3 am. It seemed like a really good mix between the younger weekend dance crowd and the Cuff’s rough and tough crowd. Cuff stayed pretty busy right up through last call.
One thing noticeable was at about 1 am a few folks at the Cuff headed over to R Place when admission is reduced to free. Not sure the exact time they do that but sometime around 1 am or later.
Earlier in the night we had hit Swank and Vibe in Kent.
