Defend Capitol Hill group targets “bland food”

March 20, 2008• bySeattle Gay Scene

As if sky high rents and losing the neighborhood’s character were not enough. Now the “Defend Capitol Hill” group is decrying Bland Food on Capitol Hill. This is a bulletin the group posted:

Noticed the blocks being leveled?
Noticed places that used to employ and house people being demolished to make way for places that serve bland food and being demolished to provide ownership of 800 sq ft for $539K?…It’s all part of the insane equation that does not seem to balance. However, YOU are not…Your hard work is paying off!

That whole gun motif thing is not very productive, even unhealthy, but preventing “bland food” is something people could get behind.

They should change their name to Refund Capitol Hill and ask for their money back.

Could they name names on who is serving bland food on the Hill?

Someone at another blog complained that Boom Noodle was not that flavorful but the management defended themselves by saying that they do not use MSG, which is typically the case with Ramen Noodle, so they were going to come up with creative ways to bring out the flavor in the soup.
Overall people seem to like Boom Noodle but they are a bit on the expensive side for Ramen Noodle.
