Q-Squared is throwing a Glitterbomb! in May

March 17, 2008• bySeattle Gay Scene

Q Squared announces another brand new event – GLITTERBOMB!

Glitterbomb is a high-energy dance party that will include performances by WEST END BOYS, special guests, DJ’s, performance artists, installation art and many other exciting surprises all in the name of fundraising for Q-Squared. They hope to create a fun-filled evening that will include many of the community building elements of Q-Squared in a dance-party atmosphere. Save the date on your calendar now! May 17th will be the first ever GLITTERBOMB!

In order to create this legendary event they need volunteer help. Please contact Rod Maplestone at glitterbomb@qsquared.org if you are interested.

The mission of Q-Squared is to improve the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health of sexual minority men by building a stronger sense of community, increasing individual responsibility, and improving self-esteem.

Q-Squared is the sponsor for the annual “CAMP” event each Labor Day Weekend in September for the past 12 years. CAMP is an alcohol, drug and “attitude free” event at a private retreat center in which 150 men gather with a desire to “learn about yourself, to forge lasting friendships and develop a deeper sense of community.”

The CAMP event is a good thing to those homosexual men who are going to enjoy a drug-free retreat. It also promotes friendship, for those who are interested in joining the said event.
