Human Rights Campaign Seattle appreciates you

April 15, 2008• bySeattle Gay Scene

HRC, no not Hillary but the other HRC, Human Rights Campaign Seattle wants to show their appreciation to all their volunteers at an event on April 26, 2008. Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is giving back to the volunteers who make the work and events of HRC possible.

  • Who: Volunteers of HRC Seattle (bring your friends and family too! Ages 21+)
  • What: A social mixer and appreciation event, free to all who attend, where the members of the HRC Seattle share their thanks and stories about how you can become more involved. There will be a cash bar, so don’t forget to tip the bartender!
  • When: April 26, 8:00 p.m. till 9:00pm (ish)
  • Where: Purr Lounge’s upstairs bar
  • Why: Because you deserve it for all the hard work, you have done! HRC would fail without the help and support of its donors and volunteers. They want to personally express their appreciation for your hard work and dedication in helping the LGBT community achieve its greatest goal: equality for all.
  • In addition, there will be a screening of a short video outlining the work HRC is doing nationally and feature a few speakers from the Dinner, Political, and Community Events teams who will highlight HRC’s big upcoming events.

Volunteers are highly encouraged to bring along any friends and family members (ages 21+) who may be interested in attending.

Questions or comments can be directed at Volunteer@HRCSeattle.org.

The leadership of HRC looks forward to seeing you there!

HRC would like to give a special thanks to Barbie at Purr Lounge for making the event possible, and another shout-out of gratitude to all those who helped to organize and stage this event.
