Rise n’ Shine raises $12K with Bartender Auction

May 2, 2008• bySeattle Gay Scene

A Bartender Auction raised an impressive $11,800 in one night of equally amazing fun on Wednesday April 30th. Here is our brief review of the event. Rick North from Rise n’ Shine left a message here and I wanted to be sure everyone saw it and is aware of the great success of the event at Purr:

Hi! This is Rick North, Development Director at Rise n’ Shine. Great review by the way. I want to thank Barbie, Glam, Purr Lounge, The Cuff, R Place, Madison Pub, all of the bartenders, the Rise n’ Shine volunteers and the incredible crowd who showed up last night. What a complete blast. We were blown away with the crowd and the donations!!!! With the sticker/raffle donations, winning bids and matching funds, we raised over $11,800 last night!

Thank you one and all. It was a memorable evening. Well, what I remember anyway!?!

They are already looking at holding the event again next year!
