Sad Music for Happy Humans (PDX) headlines an evening of eclectic fun at Fuel (164 S Washington in downtown Seattle). They are hoping to break the formula of “let’s have only musical acts that sound the same each night”, and provide a complete musical evening. The evening will start slowly with the beautiful eerie music of Susan Harper (SEA). Susan Harper plays rock fused with soulful, funky grooves.
Adam Hurst (PDX) continues the night with his “hypnotic” and “somber, ethereal tones.” Check out his website for a sample.
Drag Queen Amos Mack keeps the evening flowing between acts. Finally, Sad Music for Happy Humans starts up the nontraditional dance party at around 11:30 pm. On a typical day, Fuel is a fairly straight sports bar located in Pioneer Square so this party should be a little different for them. Doors open at 9 pm on Thursday May 8 and admission for the entire night is just $5!
If you miss them on Thursday they will also be playing at Vertigo in Tacoma on Sunday May 11.
