HotMess back at the War Room! If it were up to me I would prefer to not have Comeback and HotMess on the same night.
Having said that HotMess brought it on Friday night! The energy was high, with DJ’s Julie Herrera and LA Kendall (playing one of her best sets ever!) kept the mixed crowd sweaty and dancing all night long! The Go Go dancers and the War Room staff all wore there ripped up “I heart HotMess” T-shirts and seemed genuinely happy and excited to have HotMess back at the War Room! The usual 70’s porn and freak show visuals were cleverly edited to cover the naughty bits with a quote “Censored by Wa. State liquor Control Board and Seattle City Police!” A nod to the local policing and crack down on gay bars showing anything slightly sexual in nature.
Host, local hero and sex pot Mario Diaz danced on stage, talked shit on the mic and kept the crowd screaming for more. Performer Jer Ber Jones entered the room donning a huge Indian head dress, a homage she said to Seattle’s Native American heritage. The performance started a little late but was totally worth it. In a Black zip up cat suit and silver thigh high boots she pranced through her electro pop hits and gave a curling iron a blow job. But a featured duet with Mullet wearing and bong smoking loser boyfriend Mike (aka Mario Diaz) for Tube Tops Vs. Tube socks was the highlight! AMAZING, if you missed it be sad, very sad!
The next HotMess is Friday August 29th and yes it will be the same night as Comeback but maybe Seattle is big enough for both? And maybe you should go to both?
