Unbelievable. Partially the weather (91 degrees) but just everything seemed to work the right way. Crowds were double what they had expected at 400,000 in downtown Seattle. Any city in the country would be jealous over the amazing Seattle Pride we had. For once there was no gap between floats and the events at Seattle Center more than met expectations. PrideFest at Seattle Center was also amazing. The Foutanin lived up to expectations!
The DJ’s killed it and LA Kendall was amazing.
The lines for the “Fountain” beer garden were not too bad and beer service was instant. The Fisher Plaza beer garden did not fair as well, with long lines to get in and a beer line that stretched the length of the beer garden.
Sadly, we all have to wait till 2009 for the next Pride.
