International recording artists Amber and Zelma Davis officially released ‘No More Tears’ Enough is Enough on Tuesday August 12 which is sure to become a big hit. The song was originally recorded in 1979 by Donna Summer and Barbara Streisand.
After a flurry of illegal downloading of the song Amber quickly issued a impassioned plea to her fans in support of musicians and the tremendous negative effect it has on a musician’s ability to produce music, particularly with an indie label like Amber.
If you truly appreciate an artist’s work- you recommend them and not share their music illegally.
Is 99 cents really too much to ask for these days?
Let me give you a quick math here so you understand the numbers.
For each $ 2,000 spend, we have to sell around 5,000 LEGAL downloads to break even- not to make money but to break even…and you can only guess what we have spent to just set up this release which contains vocal production, remixes, video, artwork ect…
We love you guys and appreciate your support and want to give you what you want and need but PLEASE help us to help you.
So don’t be a prick and download music illegally!
You can check out the new song at Amber’s website.
We really appreciate your post- we can only do this together to help Dance Music survive.
