BottleNeck Lounge was named Best Gay Bar Because It Isn’t Just a Gay Bar by the Seattle Weekly.
The BottleNeck is a neighborhood bar that every block should have. That gay, lesbian, and straight neighbors can all claim the place as theirs without making the others feel unwelcome is a feat the owners should truly be proud of.
Owner Erin Nestor was very proud of the news after the announcement by the Seattle Weekly. You see BottleNeck is owned by a couple of lesbians but they have worked so hard to make the atmosphere of the lounge inviting to everyone. From their dog themed drinks, to their special grilled cheese sandwich and Bloody Mary combo for just $10 on Sunday (often referred to as “the best damn grilled cheese sandwiches you’ve ever had”) or their fabulous hangover recovery cures.
The lounge had already been named “Best Place to Sink a Battleship” by the Seattle Times referring to their Sunday game night. If you haven’t had the chance to visit BottleNeck Lounge be sure to check them out.
