Fruits in Suits is a new monthly happy hour that will take place in various venues around Capital Hill. The goal is simply to have a nice happy hour, mingling and networking with other GLBT professionals and their friends.
DJ MattStands will be spinning low-key, jazzy type music that won’t overpower conversation. There will be light hors d’oeuvres, a lively host that will help people to mingle and meet new folks, and a fully stocked bar.
The cost is $10 ($8 for GSBA members), which gives you one free drink and light hor d’oeuvres and helps to pay for the cost of the venue each month. A portion of each month’s proceeds will also be donated to The Trevor Project.
The first Fruits in Suits is Wednesday, November 19th from 5pm – 8pm and will be held at the Fetherston Gallery – 818 East Pike Street.
It’s time get out and have some great times talking about how fantastic the rally/march was this past Saturday and just take a midweek break. And NO, you don’t have to wear a suit.
