Earning himself as a name in the national DJ scene, Brian Gorr has been spinning for Seattle’s gay and gay-friendly nightclubs for the past ten years including his REWIND party last year at Baltic Room as well as Safari, Neighbours, Ego, 916, Arena, The Timberline, Neumo’s, Sugar, Element, Level 5 and BUMP! at EMP just to name a few. Some of his recent parties include Vancouver’s annual Rapture party and their Halloween bash, Boo!, Portland’s massive Red Dress Party in 2007, many local Pride Parties throughout the years in Seattle and the popular Lava Party in Honolulu. There are few Seattle DJs that can compare to the energy that DJ Brian Gorr brings to a party.
Brian’s style includes many genres of dance music, but you’ll often hear him playing vocal house, HiNRG, tribal and trance. His sets always seem to lift up the people in the club, leaving them pleasantly exhausted by the end.
I feed off of the crowd when I’m spinning. When their energy level increases, so does mine and we just work each other up until it’s time to close the club doors.
