The Stranger Slog brought news on Friday about how the religious right is going after Washington State’s domestic partnerships and targeting Democrats in swing districts with an all out campaign. One legislator said “We have gotten maybe 250 emails in opposition that are very personal in the last two weeks.” This is in contrast to relatively few emails of support for domestic partnerships and most of the support coming in the way of form emails or sent mostly to legislators from Seattle districts.

Now they are using deceptive YouTube ads, story is here, by using the word “marriage” in place of domestic partnerships saying that they will “redefine marriage” and result in “teaching that gay marriage is normal and healthy in public schools.”
