Highlights for tonight, Friday April 24, 2009

April 24, 2009• byBill W

Another busy weekend in Gay Seattle.
Go and check out our Weekend Calendar for a list of things going on.

First and foremost, no matter what you end up doing later tonight, start out at Fruits in Suits at the Fetherston Gallery. This GLBT networking event is far from your average business social which usually includes a visit from the fabulous Miss Tina. Featuring low-key music from DJ Matt Stands this casual event starts at 5:30pm with proceeds benefiting The Trevor Project.

So much theater is happening tonight.

  • Keefee’s House of Cards at Theatre Off Jackson is hilarious. Just check out this great story in The Stranger about the show.
  • Le Cabaret Noir at ACT Theatre sold out last weekend.
  • Dina Martina only has four more shows left.
  • Breakin’ Hearts & Takin’ Names is playing at Seattle Rep.
  • Monolodge 6 at Annex Theatre open tonight at 11pm.
  • Also check out ACT’s Jekyll & Hyde, 5th Avenue’s Sunday in the Park With George and Seattle Rep’s Wishful Drinking with Carrie Fisher.

Also some dance events in Seattle:

  • COMEBACK! at Chop Suey features special guests Nita Aviance and Gant Johnson from Tubway and Mr. Black in NYC.
  • Cuff Complex has the popular DJ Harmonix until 3am.
  • Neighbours Neightclub has DJ Kyler from C89.5 FM on Fridays.
  • Too many things to list here so check our Weekend Gay Seattle Calendar which has been posted EVERY week since mid-2007.
