Jet City Hoops, Seattle’s first LGBT basketball league, is holding its Spring Fundraiser at The Elite this Friday, May 1, 2009 from 8pm – 12am. Now in its second season, Jet City Hoops comprises 8 teams with a mix of both gay and straight players. The fundraiser is open to everyone as players will be selling jello shots and raffle tickets to raise funds for the league. There will be many fabulous prizes given away to winners including massages, gift certificates, toys from Babeland and much more. The Elite is located at 1520 E Olive Way on Seattle’s Capitol Hill.
Jet City Hoops is Puget Sound’s co-ed gay basketball league. The league is open to people of all skill levels and their goal is to provide a fun environment for players who enjoy or want to learn more about basketball. For more info about the league visit www.jetcityhoops.org.
