Rock The Folk OUT: 2009 Spring Tour is visiting 20 cities out in the west and on Monday April 27, 2009 it comes to Seattle’s JewelBox Theater. This groundbreaking tour will showcase the immense talents of openly gay singer-songwriters Stewart Lewis, Tom Goss, and Jake Walden.
In the Winter of 2008, Stewart Lewis, Tom Goss, and Jake Walden performed the “Rock The Folk OUT” tour in the Northeast to packed houses of happy concertgoers.
In light of the propositions passed during the recent election, more than ever the LGBT community is struggling and fighting back across the U.S. We remain a committed, unified movement. Lend your support and ears for one night of great music; you won’t be sorry!
Here is one of my fav’s by Jake Walden “For Someone”:
The tour is presented by Regent Media. Regent Media essentially owns most of the major gay media in the country including here! TV and the gaywired.com family of websites, along with 7 LGBT Magazines, including The Advocate and Out and recently merged with PlanetOut which owns Gay.com.
This concert is going to be really cool. This one night only event is on Monday April 27, 2009 at Rendezvous’ JewelBox Theater, 2322 2nd Avenue in Seattle’s Belltown, at 7:30pm and is 21+ but tickets are only $10 so please don’t miss out.
