Parlor Live, the club that brought you the “Stand Up With Pride” comedy show with Ant, Erin Foley, and Jason Dudey last month during Seattle Pride, have Hal Sparks from Queer as Folk performing next week from July 16 – 18.
Sparks appeared in every single episode of Queer as Folk as Michael Novotny. As an actor he hosted the popular gossip show “Talk Soup” for about a year, played a gay man on Showtime, then he’s a rock singer and now comedy. Is there anything this guy can’t do?
We can offer a special discount to our readers with tickets priced at only $10-$15, that’s a $10 discount. Just use the special discount code “TENOFF”.

This is not really relevant for this upcoming comedy show, however, I want to take this opportunity to post the final scene of the final episode of Queer as Folk– After their local gay nightclub, Babylon, is destroyed in a bomb explosion the series ends with Sparks’ character, Michael, dancing with Brian Kinney in the burned out club as Michael concludes with the infamous line: “So the ‘thumpa thumpa’ continues. It always will. No matter what happens. No matter who’s president. As our lady of Disco, the divine Miss Gloria Gaynor has always sung to us: We will survive.”
(Nice to look back at a show that so many people miss very much)
