I have been so busy lately that I completely forgot to post about a local party commemorating the old block on pine that is now an empty parking lot.
A few locals of the CaptotheHill blog recently won a contest and are holding an event at Havana and will be sponsored by JanSport. The venue will supposedly have rooms that made to represent each bar that was on that block. (Kincoras, Manray, Pony, etc.)
There should be plenty of other surprises throughout the night.
For Entrance, locals handed out free tickets and a guest list of 400 people was created. This is a “Private” party. But don’t worry, there will be a way to get in.
I am heading out shortly and hope that many of you make it to this once in a lifetime event. I will post a recap on the event tomorrow.
