Wildrose has been serving Seattle’s lesbian population for 25 years; day after day, year after year, making it the oldest lesbian bar on the West Coast. What were you doing 25 years ago? Tonight, Wednesday December 30, Wildrose celebrates by serving up a mega street party comfortably located under heated tents as they completely take over nearby 11th Avenue and celebrate the anniversary of one of the classiest establishments on Capitol Hill. Featuring MCs Lamar Van Dyke and Ben DeLaCreme and imagine two iconic female DJs, Colby B. and Amateur Youth, both on the same night!
But it doesn’t end tonight. Tomorrow night they kick it up again with a mega New Year’s Eve Street Party to ring in the new decade with some of the finest looking and talented female DJs in Seattle: DJ Joy, DJ Jodi Bon Jodi, Lady Jane DJ and DJ LA Kendall with the oh-so-faboo MC Adraboo.
The outdoor bash goes from 6pm – 1am both December 30 & 31.
