Maybe super high expectations influenced my night but nothing really extraordinary about last night’s NYE celebrations. Maybe I just never made it to the right place.
Crowds were late to arrive in a lot of places including Cuff where there was no line up until very late. Many people may have been celebrating in downtown or at private homes before heading out for the afterhours just after midnight. The Lobby Bar was really decked out in all its gloriness. The ice bucket of three small bottles of champagne (aka flutes) for $20 was a decent deal in my opinion (considering what they charge for normal drinks).
DJ Kimberly S. put out a decent set of popular music for the dance crazed crowd at Cuff. There was steady traffic heading into Wildrose’s 11th Avenue street party in the big white tent.
Overall for me, this year’s Halloween was so much more fun and even DJ Brian Gorr’s Rewind Party two weeks ago was more fun (What an amazing blast at Baltic Room that was). How about you? Anything great last night? Let me know.
I have to say I heard the same, Bill. Though George and I were at home, celebrating with friends from out of town, highlights from the past 6 months have been Halloween, Red Dress and Rewind.
Thanks again, for all the info you keep avail to us!
