Seven Deadly Sins: VANITY at Neumos was amazing last night. The boys from Two Knights Event have really come into their own. Most know about their annual NX Weekend events in August and many remember how crowded their LUST Party (photos) was back in January and this latest one was even better than that. I always go into every party being the ultimate pessimist, wondering if anyone will show up but not only did tons of people show up, they showed up early in the night. At 11pm the dance floor was packed but what is so good about Neumos is the club has so much room to move around, almost too much room, leaving you worried if you can get enough gays out to make it an event. That was not a problem last night as the gays turned out in force. Many people were there to see Ultra Nate perform and she gave an amazing performance with a balloon drop and everything. I also saw the talented Kevin Kauer in the house so I imagine we will be seeing his great pictures from the event soon. DJ Craig Gaibler from San Francisco was really good and better than anything we have locally here in Seattle.
We made our way around Capitol Hill and many other places were very slow for a holiday weekend as I think people headed out of town. Great job for a flawless event (and I mean flawless) and watch for their next feat on September 18, 2010 titled “Sloth” with DJ Joe Gauthreaux and they are telling folks to “Expect the Unexpected.”

Did you bother checking out the CUFF! I was there and dj blaine had the place on fire!
I went to the Cuff earlier in the night before 11pm and the place was dead but it has been fairly typical that Cuff gets pretty crowded well after midnight as people leave some of the other bars. Relatively speaking I think it was kind of a slow weekend for Cuff on Memorial Day Weekend probably because the weather. Nothing better than Cuff's patio on a warm Sunday afternoon.
