Letter to the editor hopes Federal Way won’t pander to the gay lifestyle

July 18, 2010• bySeattle Gay Scene

In an opinion piece for the Federal Way Mirror Newpaper, Tyler Young talks about a Gay Revolution for Federal Way and the beginnings of a social meet-up at the local library beginning on July 25th. Four days later the newspaper featured an opposing letter hoping that Federal Way will “not pander to gays and their perverted lifestyle with gay bathhouses, gay bars and dykes on bikes parades.”

T.J. Brown tells Tyler rather than “taking over the library” so he can “recruit youth using the library” that he should “move to Seattle.” Read the letter where Brown warns the city against Pandering to the gay lifestyle.

If you are Gay in Federal Way you can join their “revolution” over at Facebook.

T.J. certainly should not go to Wild Waves in Federal Way during our End of the Summer Party on August 28th.
