Yep, DJ Colby B has just announced that they’ve signed the legendary, trans superstar, Candis Cayne to perform at this month’s Comeback!, next Friday, August 27 at Chop Suey. It will be her very first appearance in Seattle and it’s also her BIRFDAY!!!! Adorable. She’ll be backed up by DJ El Toro (Kurt Reighley, KEXP) as the guest dj and it should be a WILD night. For those of you living in the dark, Miss Cayne is an acclaimed performance artist in NYC but best known as the first trans actress to star as a trans character on a network TV show, portraying “Carmelita” the mistress to one of the lesser Baldwin Brothers on the ABC series “Dirty Sexy Money” back in 2007. The series only had two mini seasons before leaving the air, but it put the luscious actress on the map (even if it meant making out with a lesser Baldwin Brother…) This will be a Comeback! definitely worth checking out…stay tuned for more news.
