The well received Warhol and Cobain exhibits are coming down soon, so you’re running out of time to check them out at the Seattle Art Museum. AND, you only have a day to buy your tickets and make your plans for their big August “Remix” event at the Olympic Sculpture Park…it’s going on tomorrow night (Friday, August 27) from 8pm to Midnight, it’s a 21+ event with performances by Truckasaurus and Stranger Genius Susie Lee and if you don’t BUY your tickets NOW, you can always show up EARLY to the event wearing NEON because the first 5O people in line that resemble a blacklight poster will get in FREE!
If you can’t do “Remix” then you can plan ahead for the opening of the new Amy Blakemore photography show on September 4 or plan even farther ahead by getting your tickets for the hottest art event of the autumn, the monstrously huge Picasso show that opens October 8 for a limited run…it will be HUGE. Also remember that if you become a MEMBER of SAM, you get in FREE to Picasso with your membership…something to think about…
