The adorable and cute kids from the group, “We Need Queer Youth Space!” are throwing an old-timey Jumble Sale TOMORROW, Saturday, September 11 at the Healthy Times Fun Club at 11th and Pike from Noon to 6pm. They are calling it a “Big Queer Jumble Sale” and promise the following:
We will have:
– clothes
– bags/backpacks
– other random donated items
– FREE FOOD
– baked goods
– music
– awesome queersThere will be free clothes, so come early! Everything else will be sold by suggested donation!
My only question is, WTF is the “Healthy Times Fun Club” at 11th and Pike? That’s the corner with The Wildrose, Retro Home, the record store and the Oasis restaurant…is the “Fun Club” a code name for something? Or, am I too old to know? Strangeways is so old that if life were like the movie “Logan’s Run”, I would have been sent to “Carousel” back when Clinton was president…BUH, DE BUMP, BUMP!
