Rain, Rain Go Away…Great Day For Watching Football

September 19, 2010• bySeattle Gay Scene

The Seattle Seahawks are undefeated this year (so what it’s only been one game) and this week they travel to the Mile High City to take on their elusive and classic rivals, the Denver Broncos. And some of us are still feeling a bit depressed about the whole UW Husky debacle yesterday against Nebraska.
Three places are the best gay venues for watching NFL Football:
The Elite is at the top of my list because the friendly staff and patrons can make any stranger feel welcome and planty of room to enjoy the game.
Madison Pub is the classic standard for watching football and they take each week seriously with drink specials, trivia games and cash giveaways to boot.
Purr is the newest place to watch the game. They now open at 10am on weekends and can offer you a hearty brunch until 2pm for a little over $10 and plenty of TVs.

A few other places worth mentioning is Swank down in Kent will be having a football party and so will Brenton over at Bar Myx in Belltown, who will be doing some drink specials for the game. RPlace opens at 2pm if you want to watch the game there.
