She’s famous for co-creating the iconic “The Daily Show” (long before current host, Jon Stewart joined the show) and she was also a co-founder of the late lamented, Air America Radio but comedian Lizz Winstead is also an accomplished performer, and she’s bringing her show, “My State of the Union” to Seattle this Friday, September 17 with TWO shows at the Theatre Off-Jackson, 407 7th Avenue South (7th and Jackson in the International District) at 8 and 10pm. The press blurb promises us that her show:
…takes on hypocrisy with a brilliant razor sharp wit, hitting all the big guys who chose to abuse their power. From Beck to Bachmann, Healthcare to Hedge funds, no one is exempt from a hilarious jab.
If you need a break from the madness of the world and feel like the state of our union is in quite a state, then Lizz Winstead will be the much needed catharsis you are looking for.
Sounds awesome…unless you can see Alaska from your house. For tickets to this show, go HERE.
