Tickets are still available for BUMP 2010, Seattle’s bigass monster ball for all the city’s “little monsters”. It all happens NEXT Friday, October 29 at the Showbox at the Market starting at 9pm and going officially to 2am, (but, there WILL be afterparties, including an “official” one…). They have a great line-up for this year’s event including dj’s Nastina, Michael Holden and dj spaceotter with hosting duties supplied by Ben DeLaCreme and performances by Furthermore Collective (fire dancers!), Waxie Moon, Inga Ingenue, Paris Original and many more. AND, don’t forget there is a $1000 prize for the Best Costume so start sewing but we do NOT want to see any Lady Gaga inspired “Meat Dresses”…that has been DONE and it’s gross. Who wants driblets of cow carcass splaying about and getting into your Manhattans and Mai-Tais?
Other stuff to keep in mind: they’ll be shuttle buses to bring you from the pre-party events on the Hill down to the Showbox at the Market and back again, AND there is the big after party event, GRIND at the Baltic Room. Advance tickets are $35 a person, but if you get a group of four people together, you get a group rate of $100…that’s only $25 a person. AND, remember this is a benefit for Gay City and the Seattle Men’s and Women’s Choruses so some of that money goes to good causes.

Definitely worth a checking out.
