Matthew Rettenmund from Boy Culture reports that Lt. Dan Choi was able to reenlist in the U.S. Army today at the Times Square recruitment center in New York. This follows the announcement that the government has instructed military recruiters to bypass DADT and let openly queer men and women enlist in the U.S. military.
Does this mean that DADT is finally dead, and LGBTQ citizens have the SAME rights as anyone else when it comes to military service?
Hope so.
