Today, an injunction filed against The Lime Group (producers of LimeWire file-sharing software) effectively killed the program, a la Napster. While Napster enjoyed a subsequent acquisition by Best Buy to legally distribute music and media, LimeWire is unlikely to see such favor, as their venture called “Spoon” has not been received with much fanfare.
Bye bye Limewire… Sharing is bad, m’kay?
