BUMP 2010 will ignite the Seattle social scene on Friday, October 29th at Showbox at the Market. This year’s event will feature three DJ’s, amazing live performances, two VIP experiences, and an official after party. The fundraiser benefits Gay City Health Project and the Travel Fund for Seattle Men’s Chorus Seattle Women’s Chorus.
“Once again, BUMP will be the place to see and be seen on Halloween,” says Fred Swanson, Gay City’s Executive Director. “It’s sure to be a fun-filled Halloween weekend, and BUMP is the perfect kick-off event,” he adds. Organizer Peter Jabin agrees. “We have some outrageous live entertainment scheduled, everything from burlesque and drag, to dance and fire performers. There’s something for everyone at BUMP!”
BUMP’s performers include emcee Ben DeLaCreme, renowned dancer Waxie Moon, the “little blonde bomb” Inga Ingenue, boylesque’s prima ballerina Paris Original, fire performances by Furthermore Collective, and many more! BUMP’s live show will be seamlessly integrated into five-hours of non-stop thumping beats spun by three of the Northwest’s most popular DJ’s. Nastina, Michael Holden, and dj spaceotter are sure to pack the dance floor with their energetic performances.
BUMP will rock from 9om to 2am, as nearly 1,000 party goers fill Pike Place’s legendary Showbox for what is sure to be an amazing party. Free shuttles are provided to transport guests from six Capitol Hill locations to BUMP, and Jabin adds that, “BUMP’s guests historically have the craziest costumes in town, so the evening includes a costume contest with a $1000 grand prize.”
Tickets start at just $25 when purchased in groups of four and a limited number VIP tickets are also available for two different VIP experiences. BUMP’s $60 VIP tickets give guests access to a special VIP area with a dedicated bar, discounted drink specials, express VIP Entrance to the party, and a free photo of guests and their entourages! The exclusive Platinum VIP tickets are offered at $125, providing guests with the regular VIP perks PLUS an additional private party, a hosted bar with complimentary cocktails, hors d’ouevres, premium gift bags, free parking, & free entrance to GRIND, the official BUMP after-party.
This year’s party doesn’t end at 2am. Two Knights Event will host “GRIND,” the official BUMP after party at the Baltic Room until 5am Sunday morning. Admission is only $10, and shuttles from Showbox provide guests with transportation to the party.
