The tragic news of a local, gay teen, Terrel Williams of Lakewood, Washington committing suicide was reported both locally and nationally last week with many gay blogs and sites picking up the story. But, questions quickly arose about the veracity of the story and the real identity of “Terrel Williams” and his best friend/partner “Daric Rawr”. Suspicions aroused, the reporters at Hivster.com began investigating the story and eventually made contact with “Daric” and had email and instant messaging conversations with him. Their discoveries were startling. Here’s a quote from the Google Chat:

daricdash: (heres the funny part). It wasn’t here in WA. The clover park thing started after a twitter user spiked a viral message ” 17 year old dies in Clover park high school” leaving the people to think it was terrel.
He hung himself in Beverly Hills where his grandparents were living.
