This week’s Glee had two main themes “finding your inner mailman” and “Free your mind and the rest will stop”. Kurt gets harassed in school and one of the bullies winds up kissing him. It was nice to see Kurt get his first kiss but we are not sure how we feel about it being from one of the bullies. Better if it was from his new friend who is totes cute!
Also not sure how we feel about Beiste’s first kiss being a pity kiss from Will. She is way to cool for that!
Noah Puckerman and Artie Abrams sang “One Love/People Get Ready” Bob Marley & The Wailers.
Dalton Academy sings “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry
The girls do a mashup of “Start Me Up” / “Livin’ on a Prayer” by The Rolling Stones / Bon Jovi
The boys do a mashup of “Stop! In the Name of Love” / “Free Your Mind” The Supremes / En Vogue.
Some of our favorite lines:
Kurt: You can’t punch the gay out of me any more than I can punch the ignoramus out of you. |
Beiste: Maybe I’ll get a job as a cooler at a honky tonk bar. Maybe an ice road trucker. |
Will: I’m not tossing the baby out with the bath water here. Brittany: I’ve totally done that |
Next week’s stunt casting includes Gwyneth Paltrow playing Holly Holiday. Why is Gwyneth on Glee? To launch her career as a country music star. We kid not! Now, we remember she sang in the Huey Lewis movie in the 90’s. But we don’t remember being impressed.
We leave you with a picture of Sue’s confetti guns, because when can a confetti be wrong?
