So far this season, Glee has been sort of a mess, in my opinion, with too many meandering plot lines, dumb stunt casting, and woeful character development and motivation but there’s always hope that things will get better! We can at least look forward to the arrival of dreamy actor/singer Darren Criss as Kurt’s new love interest, Blaine, an openly gay student at a private boy’s school. (Just how big is this town? It has a dozen institutions of secondary education and all of them apparently have million dollar budgets for their glee clubs…) Here’s a clip of Blaine sweeping Kurt off his feet while performing the rather cloying Katy Perry song, “Teenage Dream” in this week’s new episode:
Not crazy about the song, but Mr Criss is adorable…
Less adorable: Goop author/sometime actress Gwyneth Paltrow’s upcoming multiple episode turn as a new teacher at McKinley High. Here’s Gwnnie Poo in action doing a production number of Cee Lo’s “F*ck You” with the cast.

Love the production design…less sure about the presence of Ms Paltrow. As you can tell, I’m not a huge fan of hers. Only time I’ve really like her, was in Wes Anderson’s Royal Tenenbaums. She’s just such a little privileged princess…not likable at all. But, we’ll give her the benefit of the doubt until we actually see her performance in “Glee”.
