Noted Seattle area photographer Jim Wilkinson has a new book of zexy but thoughtful photographs out. “Naked Truth” focuses not only on the bodies of gay men, but their thoughts as well, and features photos of a variety of men and body types with their thoughts painted on their bodies. Most of the images aren’t safe for work, (many are nudes; none are “porny” or sexual in nature…these are “art” shots) and here’s one safe example for you to enjoy. You can check out Jim’s work on his website and purchase a copy of the book, there, or at Amazon.com.
A launch party for the release of the book was held last Thursday at Lobby Bar. Jim obviously enjoys the attention of his fans and returns the favor…(Jim’s in black doing the kissing) Photo by Andy Niable.

Is it just me or is Jim Wilkinson's photography really generic? Same lighting, same four colored backdrops, same poses, same subject matter. I hope he stretches his creativity and potential in future projects.
Hey Ziggy, Thanks for the comment. Are you one of those folks who reads a book and then says "Hey this book is really generic. All the type is the same and the pages are the same color"! There are about 20 different colors used, actually, and the color is a mere backdrop. The messages are, well, the message. I chose not to confuse things with different lighting and settings. It's a project where doing a "sound bite" really doesn't work. And yes, there's WAY more on the drawing board. Thanks for checking it out and commenting.
