The set of HBO’s monster hit series “True Blood” seems to be a fun workplace environment. I mean, how could it not be, with most of the actors stripped down all of the time for all those spicy sex scenes, not to mention Rolling Stone magazine cover shoots? And, despite the fact they play rivals for Sookie’s love, actors Alexander Skarsgård (the Viking vamp Eric) and Stephen Moyer (Southern vamp and real life hubby of actress/co-star Anna Paquin who plays Sookie) seem to be good buddies. The two easy on the eyes actors recently participated in a fun charity event called “Battle of the Fang” which encouraged the fans of their respective characters to donate to the actor’s pet charities with the winner getting to design a “bragging rights” t-shirt to be worn by both actors. The event raised $70,000 dollars for Gulf Aid (Team Bill/Stephen Moyer) and S.O.S. Children’s Villages (Team Eric/Alexander Skarsgård). Mr Moyer’s team narrowly beat Team Eric, by $829, so Mr Moyer got to pick the t-shirts the actors are wearing in the photos. The fundraiser was spearheaded by True Blood fansite, “True Blood’s Nest”; check them out for more coverage of everyone’s favorite vamp show…not to mention the gayest.
