Auntie Mame and Patrick! |
We’ve plugged it once, but we’ll plug it again: Three Dollar Bill Cinema has a special holiday screening of everyone’s favorite Camp Classic, the immortal Auntie Mame with the equally immortal, (in spirit) Rosalind Russell. It’s going down tonight, at Pacific Place Cinemas in downtown Seattle, starting at 7:30pm. Advanced ticket sales end at 4pm, (go HERE to buy them) and there aren’t many left. Starting at 6:45pm, you can buy tickets at the door, (if there are any) and pick up Will Call Tickets. Better hurry; people LOVE their Auntie especially the ones that think “Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!”
Another re-plug: NARK, the Hard Times crew and friends will be at The Baltic Room tonight for Lip Service v.2.0, Seattle’s newest and hottest night of DJ’d fun. On hand will be Super Threat and Jeromy Nail and there’ll be a special good bye tribute to “Seattle’s sparkliest goddess, Kindra Meyer” and Living Art Performances by Stella Rose and a Special Guest! AND, check out the drink specials and the Hard Times Magazine crew will be handing out the new ‘zine. The naughty fun starts at 9pm and lasts for a very long time…or, until the Stormtroopers kick everyone out. And, go HERE to see Keith Johnson’s awesome photos from last month’s Lip Service.

Let’s wrap it up with more hot firefighters…they were at Babeland last week peddling their brand new calendar which benefits the WSCFF and burn victims. Join them tonight at Purr at 8pm and pick up your new calendar and stuff those stockings.
And, while on the same block as Purr, check out the Illumium show at Vermillion Gallery, the new show featuring the amazing artist Jesse Higman. Here’s the skinny on that event:
