Time to crown some new royalty for the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle.

His Most Imperial Sovereign Majesty Rainier XXXVI, Harrie Lee & Regent Empress, Madison Lane-Weston bid us a farewell as they abdicate their thrones after a year of service to the Court...

Yup….it’s that time of year. The Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle is electing a new Empress and Emperor to rule over us all as they bid farewell to the departing sovereigns, Madison Lane Weston and Harrie Lee. The crowning event is this Saturday, February 19 in the Madison Ballroom at the Seattle Renaissance Hotel, (advance tickets seem to be sold out; some tickets may be available at the door), but there have been several events held during Coronation Week with more to come. Tonight, (Friday, February 18) you can check out performances from out of town guests at the appropriately named “Out of Town Show” at R Place. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm with a cover of $10. On Sunday, you can toast the new Emperor and Empress at The Victory Brunch at 10:30am in the Visions Ballroom at the Seattle Renaissance Hotel (tickets only $25). For more info on all these events, go to the Court’s website or Facebook page.
