Tonight at the Electric Tea Garden (1402 E. Pike St at 14th), things are going to be crackin’ for T2-B2! This is a Sci-Fi, Star Wars-esque, Crazy-Techno-Freak-Fest! Costumed attire is not mandatory, yet highly encouraged. So re-sculpt that tinfoil headdress, repaint that cardboard robot suit, or don your Princess Leia buns. In other words…Dress to Xpress…if you feel up to it. Either way, you and your dearest are warmly invited to help super queer power couple, Tippet (Aka MC Anton Bomb) & DJ Tony Burns, celebrate their birthdays in DIY style!
This awesome happening also has a dual purpose, and serves as a benefit to help Tony Burns out with his medical bills from a spinal surgery he had to undergo earlier this year. You all know how it is. Healthcare in this country SUCKS. Even if you have insurance, something catastrophic can happen and the bills start stackin’ up. Here’s our chance to come together as a community and support some of our own. We’ve all seen these two out and about supporting and performing at so many events and causes, and now they are asking for our help. In return, they are gonna hit us with one helluva party!
T2-B2’s Facebook invite boasts amazing dj’s and vocalists, a fabulous hostess, ridiculous props, costumed club goers, smoke and lasers, free swag, friendly bar staff, a great location and 12 hours of mayhem (the bar reopens at 6AM…complete with Bloody Marys, Mimosa specials, and snacks, so take a disco nap)! Tonight will be a memorable and mutant-tastic night to remember. The party starts and 10PM sharp so get there early and stake yourself out some prime real estate for people watchin’! THIS ONE’S GONNA BE GOOD!
